How awful any time of year...
The Red Cross predicts over 100,000 were killed across 11 countries and that 500,000 people were injured. I visited Thailand this summer on vacation with my wife and this disaster has been on my mind the last few days.
To that end, I set up a link at the top right hand corner of my blog which links directly to the Red Cross International Response Fund and that will allow individuals to make a small donation to help aid those in need. So far, in just under three days, Americans have contributed over $18 million to this fund.
There is also a blog setup for tsunami help. Some useful pointers there as well:

Several companies are also matching donations. It might be worthwhile to check with your company to see if they match any dontations that you make for this cause.
